About the Project

This portfolio of abstractions explores the idea of multiple ways of seeing a single object and the subjectivity of any one point of view. For it, I made many exposures of a complex subject from multiple points of view. While each image of the subject - a draped fishing net held up to cloudy skies - portrays a fragmentary glimpse, several together provide a greater but sometimes even more confusing view of the whole. The sixteen pieces can be displayed individually or in a multitude of grids or random groupings.
